Bob is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and received his BS degree in Forest Resource Management from Iowa State University in 1979. After graduation he worked for Huttig Sash and Door Company in Casper, Wyoming. Moving back to Iowa in 1984, Bob worked for the Worth and Lee County Conservation Boards, and for Blackmore Nursery in Mason City. In 1989 he became the staff forester for Geode RC&D in Burlington, Iowa. Since January 1, 2000 Bob has owned and operated Geode Forestry, Inc.
