Gretchen Cline

gretchenGretchen is a native of Persia, Iowa and received her BS degree in Forest Resource Management from Iowa State University in 1997. While in school Gretchen worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Forestry Department studying water quality issues on the Bear Creek Watershed project. In 1998, Gretchen was hired by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Forestry Bureau and worked out of the Elkader, Iowa office as an assistant District Forester. In October 2001 she joined Geode Forestry Inc. in Burlington, Iowa as a private consulting forester. Gretchen's particular area of interest is in water quality issues as related to forested streamside buffer strips.
